Innovate. Create. Explore… Be dynamic
There’s an unspoken understanding between an employee and an employer. Or at the very least, there should be this expectation that the employer is in part responsible for the growth of their employees. How does an organization help this growth? Through rewards and promotions? Through increased responsibilities? Through creating opportunities for growth?
As sa.global, the company provides their employees with plenty of opportunities to prove themselves, supports and enables them to deliver beyond their own expectations, and provides various avenues to fulfil their career aspirations.
It is during passages of time such as these that employees discover themselves and their strengths. But how often do you actually get this chance to work on new projects, learn new technologies, or even change roles?
Hi, I am Savitha and I have been with sa.global for 14 years. I have been fortunate to get several opportunities to work on varied projects, learn a lot of new technologies, and change roles, and in the process, grow and evolve. I am an assistant manager now, but when my journey began all those years back, I was a software engineer for a Microsoft Dynamics GP project.

One of the first projects I worked on was a milestone project, not just for me, but for the company as well. This was the EFCC (Euro Functional Currency Conversion) project which established us as the preferred development partner for Great Plains and eventually led to us being a large scale development partner for Microsoft. This was also when I got the opportunity to be a part of a pilot project for Microsoft core development along my growth story in 2010.
Over the years, I have learnt several new concepts and evolved my skill set to keep pace with the platform we work on. I have learnt and worked on new technologies like Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Azure DevOps, and so on. We support a dynamic platform and are expected to be dynamic and evolve as the situation and market demands. And through all of this, the company has been the wind beneath my wings.
When I look back at the 14 years I have been here, it amazes me to see how much I have grown and evolved. I am thankful to my mentors and managers who encouraged me and gave me the opportunities to learn and achieve so much.
As we celebrate completing over 30 years as a company, we are publishing stories that have been part of tribal lore and served as an inspiration to everyone at sa.global. These stories epitomize what it is that makes us who we are and ultimately has led to us being so successful at what we do.
