Collaboration knows no boundaries
This mantra is at the root of all our functions at sa.global. We believe that something incredible happens when everyone on the team is equally invested in the overall purpose and goal.
"Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success."
~ Henry Ford
This mantra is at the root of all our functions at sa.global. We believe that something incredible happens when teamwork and collaboration happen the way it is supposed to – when everyone on the team is equally invested in the overall purpose and goal, when team members work faster, find gaps more easily, and innovate better.
A classic example of collaboration across our functions and geographies is the Financial Transformation Program that we embarked on for a global media agency. This organization, headquartered in London and with over 50,000 employees worldwide, needed a scalable, more automated finance solution that connected across the organization globally.
Over 300 of our team members from over 11 countries and 20+ locations worked together on this project. Developers from India, UK, and Serbia delivered software that is now leveraged by users in Australia, France, UK, USA, Canada, Spain, Italy, Malaysia, and China. We involved every entity from the newest one in Colombia, to our oldest team in Belgium – making this the best story of global collaboration for a global delivery.
This project also included service desk and incident management support for 6,300 users and over 880 financial administrators. Our dedicated support team of over 160 support resources in a dozen countries provided follow-the-sun support for the solution. In addition, our consultants from specific regions helped in the implementation phase, in various countries.
This implementation earned us the recognition of being named a Finalist for the 2019 Microsoft Media & Communications Partner of the Year Award – a testimony to our collaborative approach and expertise for a successful outcome.
This extraordinarily diverse team of 300 odd people working on this project were not a team just because they worked together. They were a team because of their respect, trust, and care for each other.
As we celebrate completing over 30 years as a company, we are publishing stories that have been part of tribal lore and served as an inspiration to everyone at sa.global. These stories epitomize what it is that makes us who we are and ultimately has led to us being so successful at what we do.
